What does a CABINET cupboard cost?

CABINET exclusively produces custom-made cupboards; the price is determined by the client's expectations and requirements. A 3-door wardrobe for example (comprising sliding doors and interior fittings) can cost anywhere from approx. 2,800 or 7,800 euros up to 14,000 euros and more.

Why do the prices vary?

The value of the cupboard depends on the extent of the fittings and the materials. Genuine cherry wood costs more than plastic veneer. A lit clothes rod is more than a conventional one, a 3m high cabinet is more than a 1.5m one and so on. Producing a sloping roof door is more complicated than a straight one and so the price is also higher.
But there's one thing all cupboards have in common: The drawers are fitted with full-extension runners, safety glass is used for all glass units and mirrors, high-quality aluminium is used in making the frames, the cabinet doors are fitted with anti-dust brushes and anti-derailment devices, and the smooth rolling door system is guaranteed for 10 years.

Where does this system come from?

The concept of simply closing off existing niches from the floor to the ceiling and from wall to wall with sliding doors, and thus gaining storage space, comes from North America
Michael Greven, founded of CABINET, introduced the system in Germany at the end of the 70s. His company has been developing it ever since and brought it up to today’s high standards. Our tried and tested system has now been successfully in production for over 30 years. CABINET is one of the best-known German cupboard manufacturers, and now operates in Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, BeNeLux and Turkey.

Can I install the cupboard myself?

No – as the quality of our products depends not only on the materials but also on the proper, professional assembly of the various cupboard components, we can only provide the guarantee and warranty if the installation is carried out by our specially trained and authorised CABINET expert fitters. In this way, you receive the 10-year warranty on the smooth functioning of the doors.

Can I take my in-built CABINET with me when I move house?

The CABINET system can be individually re-fitted at any time and just about anywhere. Unlike a static carpenter-made installation, the CABINET cupboard system is much more flexible as you can always change or add to it, externally as well as internally.
