A BRIGHT WELCOME
Entrance halls are demanding spaces to furnish. First impressions count. Both occupants and guests should feel at home. And there is a need to store innumerable things tidily: coats, umbrellas, shoes, bags, keys... All these can be accommodated in a CABINET, which can be as discrete as you wish, for instance with doors matching the colour of the walls exactly or with a full-height mirrored door, which makes the room appear larger and maximizes light at the same time.
GAIN STORAGE SPACE
Even in narrow and often long hallways it is possible to create storage space with the sliding door system - either in alcoves or along the entire length of the wall. Limited depth is not a problem: Useful cupboards can be created with a depth from as little as 20 cm.
The striking black and white rug required a strong partner: The bright red cupboard frame sets a clear but calm signal; the mirrored sliding doors reflect the pattern on the floor and enlarge the room. The design of the interior is restrained: it is kept in purist white (bottom left).
Even in a long, narrow hallway, a CABINET can create useful storage space. A wardrobe along the entire length of the hallway, for instance, can accommodate all your coats, jackets, scarves and hats, making room in the wardrobe in the bedroom (bottom right).
